Måneskin is nominated for Grammy’s ‘Best New Artist’

Måneskin has been nominated for their first ever Grammy Awards, as Best New Artist.

Last year, the band presented the Grammy nominations for Rock categories - unfortunately, without the presence of Victoria, who was sick.

This year the band has submitted their work to 6 categories: Best New Artist and other 5 for the song ‘SUPERMODEL’ (‘The Loneliest’ wasn’t eligible for the Grammy, as it was released after the submission deadline); they ended up being nominated for Best New Artist.

The band had already talked about a possible nomination:

“We have worked hard during the last years and since the beginning of our career. We've managed to get here playing what we really like, and every new project is important to us: they capture moments of this great music industry journey. Getting the recognition of the Recording Academy means we are on the right path, doing what we love”.

With this nomination, the band has joined a selected group of Italian artists who have been nominated for the main Grammy categories, like Andrea Bocceli, Laura Pausini, Domenico Modugno, Giorgio Moroder and Luciano Pavarotti.
